All Gardec facilities

Drydock

Gardec’s dock is located next to the repair quay in the inner port of Zeebrugge. Loading capacity of 3000 tons, maximum ship dimensions – length: 80 m, width: 22 m, draught: 6,25 m. The dock is specifically suited to utility vessels, tugboats, pontoons and fishing vessels.

Machining workshop

Machining workshop with large lathes, milling machines, a boring machine and CNC machines equipped for particularly large pieces.

Mechanical workshop

The mechanical workshop is fully equipped for overhauling engine components. It also has a dedicated space with testbenches for nozzles and fuel pumps.

Repair quay

Next to our dry dock in the inner port of Zeebrugge we also have a repair quay that is over 100 metres in length. It is ideal for accommodating ships with draughts of up to 8 m for work.

Telescopic cranes and transport

Gardec has a fleet of mobile telescopic cranes with capacities ranging up to 220 tons. It also has semi-trailers and a low-loader for transporting heavy components.

Welding workshops

Gardec has various large construction halls and a CNC cutting hall. The construction site is located on the quay in the outer port of Zeebrugge. It is ideal for directly shipping large structures.
